EGView Application Toolbar

The EGView Primary Toolbar allows quick access to the primary functions of the application. These same options can be obtained by selecting the appropriate Menu command, or by using their associated shortcut keyboard commands.

 - New Aircraft Profile – This button opens the Create Aircraft Profile dialog box and allows you to create a new Aircraft Profile and specify the properties associated with that aircraft.

 - Open Flight – This button opens the Open Flight dialog box and allows you to open and view a specific flight that was previously imported into the database.

 - Import Data – This button opens the Import Data dialog box and allows you to import engine monitor data files into the database and associate them with a specific Aircraft Profile.

 - Edit Profile – This button opens the Edit Aircraft Profiles dialog box and allows you to edit the properties of any Aircraft Profile in the database.

 - Edit Flight Descriptions – This button opens the Edit Flight Descriptions dialog box and allows you to enter specific descriptions for each flight in the database.

 - View Options – This buttons opens the View Options dialog box and allows you to select any combination of data channels to display on the EGView Chart.

 - EGView Simulator – This buttons opens the Simulator for the appropriate engine data. Play, pause, stop allow you to run through the flight data and “see” approximately what it looked like during the flight if you had been looking at your analyzer.

 - View/Chart Trends – This buttons opens the Trends dialog box and allows you to select any combination of data channels to display on the Trend Chart. This chart presents data from all flights in a given profile. You can select max fuel flow for example and see what the max fuel flow was for every flight.

 - GAMI^TM report – This buttons calculates the GAMI^TM spread of the EGT channels in the current window. To use, zoom in on an area in your flight where you slowly leaned the mixture across peak and click the icon. The GAMI^TM spread worksheet is displayed with the information needed to check your fuel air ratios and/or order a set of GAMI^TM injectors.

 - Help – This button opens the EGView Help contents file…which you happen to be reading, right now.
