EGView Chart Toolbar

The EGView Chart has its own toolbar with options specifically associated with the Chart. If you have a multi-engine aircraft monitor such as the JPI EDM-760 or the GEM 1200 you will have two EGView Chart windows open, one for each engine. Each EGView Chart window has its own toolbar that controls the chart on that window. The options as outlined below are identical for both the Left Engine and the Right Engine chart window.

 - The left “cross hair” button lets the user click and drag the graph around. With this option selected, the graph data will move and the Axis will follow in a linear fashion.  The right magnifier button causes the EGView Chart to scale up / down and left/right while you click and drag the graph.  Make sure that your cursor looks like a hand to use these buttons.

 - These buttons will alternately zoom the EGView Chart IN or OUT when they are selected. By default, each time you select the zoom button, the EGView chart will scale by a factor of 1.5.

 - This button selects a zoom box which enables you to click and drag to create a rectangular box in the EGView Chart Windows. Upon releasing the mouse key, the EGView chart will be zoomed to a full-scale selection of the contents of the zoom box that you have just selected.

 - This button Toggles a vertical data cursor that can be moved left or right across the time (x-axis). Numeric values are displayed in the legend next to data channel names and the associated row of data in the ‘Current Flight Raw Data’ data grid control in the Flight Data window.

 - This button opens EGView Chart properties dialogue box.  The user can then change most aspects of the graph, background colors, data channel widths, axis values, etc.  I.E. - you can change the graph background white before copying to clipboard, printer or other program. (NOTE: The user should be cautious in modifying these properties. It is possible to customize a chart such that some data is not visible. The chart is set to specific defaults that are optimized to best view your engine monitor data. Opening a new flight will reset the chart properties to their default values.)

 - These buttons Copy the EGView Chart to clipboard, saves EGView Chart to a file and prints the EGView Chart to your selected printer.
