EGView uses
many of the standard Microsoft Windows navigation features such as hot-keys,
toolbars etc. The EGView Chart features some of the most flexible charting capabilities
available. EGView Chart supports these main features:
You can change the scale of the X (Time axis) or any of the Y axis at any time. To accomplish this, select the desired axis by LEFT clicking the axis and then:
With the
option selected, hold the CONTROL key down and
scroll the mouse wheel to change the scale of the axis. Without a mouse wheel,
you can accomplish the same task by using the arrow keys on the keyboard.
With the
option selected, scroll the mouse wheel to
change the scale of the axis. Also, with this option selected, you can LEFT
click and drag the mouse on the EGView Chart window. Dragging the mouse
left/right will scale the X-axis. Dragging the mouse up/down will scale the all
of the Y-axis at the same time essentially zooming in or out. Without a mouse
wheel, you can accomplish the same task by using the arrow keys on the keyboard.

By default EGView displays all EGTs and all CHTs every time you open a flight. In order to view additional data channels you must select them from either the View menu, or the View Options dialog.

The View Options dialog contains check boxes for all possible Data Channels from all supported Engine Monitor manufacturers. Therefore, several options will be enabled or disabled based on which engine monitor you have selected in the aircraft profile.
In the example below, the Aircraft
Profile contains a JPI EDM-800 with FF,

You can set a Default View that will control which data channels you want to have displayed each time you open a new flight. To accomplish this, open the View Options dialog; select the desired data channels and select the ‘Set as Default View Options’ checkbox before closing the View Options dialog.
