Can I import data from my engine monitor directly into EGView?

No, right now you must first download the data from your engine monitor and store it in a directory on your computer (follow the instructions provided by your monitor manufacturer).  EGView only imports the non-compressed files (I.E. Avidyne .log, JPI .CSV and GEM .ASC extensions).

How do I start looking at my data?

1. Create an aircraft profile for your aircraft, make sure you select the monitor that is closest to the one you have in your plane.

2. Import Data File - When dialogue box opens make sure that your aircraft is selected in the drop-down box.  Select Browse to go to directory where flight data (.csv, .log, etc) resides.  Enter a comment for files selected and select OK.

3. On menu go to File / Open Flight.  With your aircraft selected you can now select a specific flight based on the date.
